EDH Decklists that include an Attraction deck

Hello everyone,
Quick question regarding Attractions and Companions in EDH decklists. Why do they have to be listed in the Sideboard? Attractions have their own separate deck called the "Attraction Deck" and Companions cannot be in the Sideboard as EDH doesn't have one.

Thanks for your answer, Femme_Fatale. I think the overcrowding deck editor issues can be resolved with an easy workaround.
- Ask users to input their contraption/attraction/etc decks to the sideboard (as it is now) and then after the deck has been saved, the TappedOut site should use an "if then" statement that checks if any cards in the sideboard have the subtype that requires an extra deck. If yes, create a new relevant headline e.g. "Attraction Deck" and list the relevant cards underneath. Atm, it is possible to undercut the minimum number of attractions in an attraction deck, because attractions are listed under the sideboard and don't have their own rules encoded.
- Regarding the playtest window, I don't mind how it is currently being handled.

It's more complex than just an if then statement, and yeago et al have been really busy. I'll put it with the list but it's long and there are a lot more I'd consider more important when what yeago is working on is done.

The same reason why we don't have separate fields for companion or commander or sticker sheets or contraptions. There is only so many things we can support before the deck edit becomes a myriad of squished unused buttons and the playtester only has so much space. WotC makes individual "decks" because that's what is necessary to do make the rules work, but for everyone else we can do our own thing and people will know to not "cheat the rules when playtesting".
Besides we have a tutor random card button for the purposes of un-set stuff that also neatly accomplishes some arena mechanics.
