Better trade

Its great that you can find people to trade with on this site. The trade function should be further developed.
Trade should be a separate part of the site, not just a forum, where you could search people or cards based on location.
For example, it would be nice if you could find someone who have a certain card in their trade binder and lives in your country (or even city). That way its easier to make trades without sending stuff over seas.

You can already find everyone who has a xxx in their binder, but i agree it would be helpful to know what country people live in at a glance, or more importantly if they will trade to your country.
At the moment most people state if they are willing to trade overseas in their binder, and a fare few even include their location. (Surprisingly most don't, think I'm physic or something.)

It should be noted that a lot of the time the list of people who have a card is broken and they don't actually have the card listed, but it's your best bet. Still wondering when they're going to fix that.

These features are all available, but most people opt not to update their location information.
I don't really like the idea of making trades a separate part of the site. We like to facilitate trades between users as a perk for being a part of the community. If we isolate the trade community, it would basically be removing that interaction and stapling a pseudo-OTL to the site. I also feel that it would attract more scammers.
If you only mean that trade logistics should be set aside in their own section, then you might have a workable idea. However, the search feature already tells you which users have what cards. The system could use some updating, though.

Yes i know you can search for cards and see who has them in their binder. But I cant search based on location. Right? I want to find people in Sweden who are trading Celestial Colonnade. It would be a very useful feature if i could search for that, not just search for Celestial Colonnade even tho some people write where they live..
If you add location to trade search you could push out a notification to all users who have a binder prompting them to add their location.

People would need to be willing to update their location information if that system is to work. It's not impossible, though.

You can do some of what you are talking about on this site. If you look at the top right of the screen you will see a little magnifying glass icon. In the bar next to it you can type in a card name.
For this example type in "Boros Reckoner." Typing that in should take you to this page
Then click on the picture of the card that appears. That should take you to a page like this.
If you scroll down on that page you can see a list of users with the card "Boros Reckoner" in either their Haves or their Wants as well as a number of outside vendors where you can purchase the card.
This should work with any card. Hope that helps.
