Has anyone else tried this combo on MTGO yet? Seems to be bugged.

@M_Malcom - With Lich's Mastery you cannot lose the game until it leaves the battlefield. Most likely by exiling itself to its life loss ability.
Immortal Coil prevents damage to you then exiles that many cards from your graveyard. The damage still gets prevented even if you have nothing in your graveyard.
With both in play, you will never have to exile any permanent to Lich's Mastery and you won't lose the game for having no cards in graveyard.

Looking at this interaction further, having both of these cards out with an empty graveyard would result in a draw. Immortal Coil's third ability triggers when you have no graveyard, Lich's Mastery prevents you from losing, then Immortal Coil triggers again. This repeats indefinitely unless someone can interact with one of the two cards.

So, in other words, the combo does not work the way I want it to? Since Immortal Coil is a triggered ability, it will never stop trying to trigger once the graveyard is empty, even if Lich's Masteryis out.
So, even in paper magic, this would still result in a draw? If so, that's very disappointing.

mcclama, I could by totally wrong on this but couldn’t you use a card like Disallowto counter the ability and move on with your game.
