Facebook group created for Legacy players

Legacy forum

After being the only one who showed for a Legacy tournament in Elkhart, I've decided to create a Facebook group for those who are about 60 miles away from South Bend, IN and play the format.

It's a closed group, so if this interests you, please shoot me an email with your name and I will add you!

I get your feels, we have had similar issues locally with similar turnouts for eternal formats .... Good luck.

tempest, I felt Bi-Polar going from super stoked to totally bummed! I did get to playtest a Modern deck I also brought, so it wasn't a total waste of time.

Thanks Mike! Modern and EDH seem to be a lot more popular than Legacy. Perhaps it's the cost barrier, or lack of knowledge of organized play, or both.

Note: competitive Legacy lists can be made for $300-500

untap is sort of like cockatrice although it is still in beta. it is a free site for playtesting and you can chat and do sound i believe. if you are interested in checking it out, the site is untap.in

Groovy thanks!

I've only been able to go to legacy events when I can borrow Force of Will s and fetchlands to play High Tide. Which isn't very often, unfortunately... It's the only deck I've spent a huge amount of time learning to play well. I've got a proxied deck, if somebody wants to play over skype. :D

That could be fun!!!

I have a "legacy" deck but have never actually played the format as my area only sees standard(Boo!) And EDH which i am just getting the groove of.

can you make a group for tappedout players in general who wish to organize play over skype or untap?

Jules my good man, that is ingenious I say! That I shall!

I have the evening free and will whip that up shortly with the FB group name and what not.

Alright ladies and gents, The Legacy Channel is here! I created a Facebook group as suggested. I dig social networking, btw!

Here is the link! Request an add and I'll add you :-)

I'm free for a few hours if anyone wishes to FaceTime/Skype a game or two...
