What do you do with empty booster boxes?

All my cards are in a Theros holiday gift box, or fat pack boxes. I'm using one of the booster boxes for storing my dice, tokens, counters, extra sleeves, etc..but I have a couple more that are just stacked on top of the other, gathering dust. I'm a returning player, and with BNG, JOU and M15 this year, more boxes will be coming. Do you just throw them away? Reinforce for storage (of what)? Cut out as poster?

They're really not that great for storage. There are so many kick-ass creative ways to keep your cards safe and organized that using those boxes seems like a waste. If I were to need more space, I'd probably make my own box or go for a store-bought container. For now, I keep all my decks inside Dragon Shield boxes within fat pack boxes. It's good enough for transporting them anywhere.

I use them for bulk, but they aren't durable. I've taped my Avacyn Restored box (my first one) probably 3 times since I've had it.

Ive used mine for deck/card storage all the time. I wrap mine in book tape. The ones I currently have are from the zendikar block and still are holding up well

I make little castles out of the empty booster boxes at the LGS after packs are handed out for limited.

They are storage. Lands and commons. They also house my duel-deck boxes, intro-deck boxes and premium format deck boxes (which are slowly getting destroyed). I have uncommons in sleeves and the stored in them too.

Empty booster boxes? I've never heard of such a thing.

I use mine for card storage. Even though they are not that durable, it's extra space for my cards.

One of my friends cuts them up a bit and refolds them into some pretty sick deck boxes. All you need is an exacto knife and some clear packing tape.

Epochalyptik That sounds awesome, do you have any pictures of the deck boxes he makes?

When I used to buy whole booster boxes (I don't anymore - waste of money, really), I would just toss 'em once they were empty. I would keep them for storage, but those long, slender, cardboard boxes are better.

@crystalizeq: I don't, but they come out similar to this one. I'm sure you could make any style of deckbox, though.

I cut holes in them and use them as hides for my pet snakes.

There's a tutorial here on mtgsalvation on how to turn booster boxes into deck boxes.
