if a creature has any number of +1/+! counters on it, and is then regenerated, does it still have those +1/+1 counters on it after the regeneration? I don't think it does, I just want to be sure.

Also, this kind of question is best asked in the Q&A.

Since regeneration is a replacement effect (614.8) that causes the permanent to never leave play it is still the same creature and would keep all auras, equipment, and counters that may be on the creature. This interaction is different than the effects of flickering, undying, persist, etc. as with those effects the creature actually leaves the battlefield and then returns as a new creature.
614.8. Regeneration is a destruction-replacement effect. The word "instead" doesn't appear on the card but is implicit in the definition of regeneration. "Regenerate [permanent]" means "The next time [permanent] would be destroyed this turn, instead remove all damage marked on it and tap it. If it's an attacking or blocking creature, remove it from combat." Abilities that trigger from damage being dealt still trigger even if the permanent regenerates. See rule 701.12.

no it doesn't loose the counters. in order to loose some it must be specified by the activation cost.. like Experiment One

No. The permanent doesn't go anywhere, so nothing that is attached to that permanent falls off, and no counters on that permanent disappear.
