Kalonian Hydra rules clarification.

So I built a hydra deck around Kalonian and I want to make sure I have this correct. When I attack with two Kalonian hydras in one turn, their effects go onto the stack right, they don't pop at the same time?
So two 4/4 Hydra's would thus become 16/16 Hydras in one turn and not 12/12's.
They got the 12/12 from the fact that each one firing simultaneously would add 4 each, going from 4->12, it's a common misunderstanding of how stacking doubling effects works.

Oh my apologies, wasn't aware of the QnA section.
I was certain that it would be 16/16 but I just wanted to make sure, sorry for posting in the wrong place.

12/12 is what comes out of the interaction between Kalonian Hydra and Corpsejack Menace . That's a case where a replacement effect is modifying the results of Hydra's triggered ability, but the 2 Hydra case is just 2 separate triggered abilities.

I would add that both Hydras don't need to be attacking to have the effect happen. Because of the way the text is written, you can have one hydra in play, on the next turn drop a second one, and then swing with the first and add 12 counters to it!
Of course this requires some luck and lots of open mana :)

megrim, that's not right. Whenever a card uses its name without saying "A card named..." it is referring to that specific card, that object. It is as if Kalonian Hydra reads " Whenever this creature right here attacks, double......"

Questions like this should be put in the Q&A section.
You would put the triggers on the stack in whatever order you want. So the first trigger would resolve, making your Kalonian Hydra s 8/8's, and then the second trigger would resolve doubling your Hydras again to 16/16's. I'm curious where you got 12/12 from though?
