Barrage of Expendables (R) Enchantment - (r, sac a creature) Deals 1 damage to target creature or player
Does this mean that for each red mana AND sacrificed creature deal 1 damage (i.e. pay 3 red mana and sac 3 creatures = 3 damage) or does this mean for each red mana THEN sac creature deal 1 damage (i.e. pay 3 red mana and sac 1 creature = 3 damage)?
Thanks!

The activation cost for the ability is [R, sacrifice a creature]. The entire activation cost of an activated ability always precedes the colon. You need to pay R and sacrifice a creature to activate the ability.
Also, questions like this should be asked in the Q&A.

That's great thanks! SO in general, for whatever card (artifact, creature, enchantment), its abilities are pumpable if you pay every activation cost (which are the comma separated values before the colon) once for each pump. Except if they have something in the text which prevents the pump, or if they have tap as an activation cost (you can't tap it twice because it's already tapped). Does that sound about right?
I'll ask card related Qs in Q&A in future, thanks for the info.

@ivanzypher: Correct. Unless otherwise specified, an activated ability may be activated as many times as you can pay its activation cost. Examples of restrictions include Darkthicket Wolf .

(Apparently linking to the card is pointless because there ain't a picture, but whatever).
The cost for Barrage of Expendables ' ability is one R mana and one sacrificed creature (everything before the colon, basically). That means each time you wanna do 1 damage, you gotta pay the full cost, i.e. Sac a dude and pay R.
Also, questions like this are best asked in the Q&A section.
