You guys think this focus on dragons will do anything for Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker?

I bought a set of them awhile ago at about 14 bucks apiece. That was a very good price at the time, and I was banking on FRF and the third set to bolster his usefulness, as he does become a creature with the dragon subtype.
What do you guys think? Will he see a price increase thanks to the Legendary Dragons cycle in FRF? 4/4 with haste for 5 is nothing to scoff at under the circumstances.
he will only see play in mardu or jeskai decks. and since all dragons are 5 cc cost and above, there won't be a dragon deck archetype in std unless they reprint urza's incubator in some form.
kolagan will encourage mardu players to replace wingmate roc to ease up on the double white cost.
mardu midrange already runs butcher and sarkhan so buffing he beatdown option with kolagan isn't too shabby tbh.

if anything, I think we should have a NEW sarkhan card

Since he's a planeswalker in standard his price will more than likely fluctuate depending on how much play he sees BUT once he rotates out he will probably be a $5 card. If you plan on making use of him in the standard format I believe you got a good deal and your point about him being more useful when the new sets come out is probably accurate but just like anything else in economics no one can say for sure, but I wouldn't worry at the price you got them at you could probably trade him away fairly easy if you choose not to use him and at least get a fairly equal value.
