Hey. Does anyone know, if you need to pay import taxes, when buying cards from Canada in EU?

Too be honest I am not familiar with Import Taxes from within the EU. I don't know if it'll help at all but when I receive stuff that comes from the US into Canada as long as I am using USPS I will not have to pay "Duty" / "Import Taxes". Do you know if you have a shipping method similar to this?
Also again I am not familiar with EU with all of your different types of currency conversion but would it not be easier to get your cards from the US? Or would it better, economically speaking to order from Canada? Again sorry for all of the questions, as I am not too familiar when it comes to that particular region.

NorthernRaven - Yes you will. You have to pay tax and duty on items from any non EU country. However the customs people at the airport rarely search mail so usually you're ok. I've been caught out once and I had to pay $80, but I've done A LOT of trading with the US for the UK. So whilst technically the answer is yes, in practice it's more often no.

I know that I need to pay taxes when I buy from a Non-EU country, but the reason I'm asking is, that I wonder, if they have or haven't agreed in a Free Trade Agreement. Try to search on google for "Eu and Canada" and it will automatically suggest: "Eu and Canada Free Trade Agreement".
"The Canada-EU summit on 26 September in Ottawa marked the end of the negotiations of the EU-Canada trade agreement (CETA)."
Thos this means, that there is or isn't a FTA?

Unsure. UK postal service just says 'most international destinations not in the EU' they are no more specific than that. I don't know whether the summit extends to private goods ie. not commercial trade. I am unsure whether the summit ended with an agreement being reached.
Very ambiguous.

As a general rule, free trade only applies to Business to Business transactions. If you're shipping things across national boundaries (and this included from the US to Canada) you're required to pay duty and/or taxes. Most times though, if it's just an envelope, they won't check, and you'll be fine.
Also, Wizard's Tower (Kanatacg.com) is great for magic singles in Canada. Free shipping too.

I think I figured it out!
In F2F games, they only says:
Subtotal : CAD$ 23.96
Est. Tax : CAD$ 0.00
Shipping : CAD$ 5.20
Total : CAD$ 29.16
You see that? They say, that there is no tax!
So is this a conclusion, or just a mistake?

No. That would be goods tax. Countries charge tax on top of transactions. It has nothing to do with taxes associated with shipping / importing etc.
So for example if I buy bread for $2 in the UK, I'll actually pay $2.40 becausee I pay $.40 tax. Some countries specifically tell you how much tax you pay with every transaction.

im in canada and i regularly buy online from the US without any customs issues if that is your major concern. Ive never ever had to pay import taxes on anything from Europe.

for some reason recently, all my orders from SCG get searched so I have to pay the extra tax. Really pissed me off lol, ended up being more expensive than the inflated English prices! So I normally just use ebay now tbh, and stick the EU. It makes stuff alot harder to find, but if I REALLY need or want a card, its tough and I suck it up lol

Yeh some people get lucky, other people get searched every time.

Magicstronghold.com has decent prices and reasonable shipping.
Fusiongaming.com is also decent but I have noticed their prices rising a bit over time
