Commander Deck - Draconic Rage

Hi,
Never played before, bought the above off the shelf deck, Draconic Rage Original just to learn and play with my kids over the summer holiday.
Played a couple of times now and get the general idea, came on here to start to develop the deck, only to see that loads of the cards it contains are not commander/EDH legal? So can anyone explain why and does that mean i'm cheating? Thanks

Yes I am totally new to Magic, seemed a good idea to bridge the age gaps and share something in common. The kids have been playing for 12 & 6 months, one has pretty much redesigned their deck and the other has a ready made but is in the progress of upgrading.

Hey, welcome to Magic and to tappedout. The deck you bought just got released with the latest Magic set last friday, and the datebase on here usually needs some time to adjust to freshly legal cards. So don't worry, your deck is perfectly legal.
Did your kids have decks on their own before or did you get them some premade ones, as well? Are you new to commander or to Magic in general?
The deck you bought is well built for a preconstructed deck, so you'll have lots of fun playing it. There's lots of potential to change and improve on the list, but as you might already have encountered, there's barely any upper limit to the amount of money you can put in a deck. Do you have any questions regarding the deck or the rules for now? Anything else you'd like advice with? I'll try to help as good as I can, as propably will do the biggest portion of users here.
