Hey there TappedOut-ers!Xindlepeteagain. For those of you who dont know what Im doing here: I really enjoy coming up with new card concepts and ideas, and recently I've been making planeswalker mock-ups for friends both IRL and on the site! So if you would like to check out some of my handiwork to date, here's a link to my "TappedOut Mockups" folder on photobucket:TappedOut Mockups

Anyway, I've had such a blast coming up with custom planeswalkers for other users, I've decided to make a game of it! :D So here are the rules:

SendONEemail message to this address: [email protected] (this is a new email specifically for this. Please do not message me about anything not pertaining to this thread. It will just get deleted.)

In the RE: section give your TappedOut account name

In the message type the name of your favorite deck posted on TappedOut, as well as what color(s) and gender you would like the PW to be.

I will repost this thread everyday of the week, and EVERY MONDAY AND THURSDAY I will randomly draw one lucky winner out of the inbox! NOW 2 WINNERS EVERY WEEK! (Due to popularity of the contest, and the amount of free time I have currently.)

The lucky winner will receive a link on their page to their planeswalker, as well as a public link of the winning PW on the following week's Drawing.

Thank you in advance for participating, and Please Please PLEASE follow the rules! So far I appreciate everyones respect for the game as it stands. :D

P.S. for those of you who have submitted but did not win, I will leave your emails in the inbox, so there is no need to reapply! Good luck to everyone, and I look forward to hearing feedback from you winners!

And congrats to Schuesseled, our second contest winner! Here is the custom mock-up:

Holy crap that is a bonkers 'Walker. Both his negatives could easily be considered Ultimates, but only -7 for that...should be a lil higher imo especially with a 3CMC that can be R and/or W lol

Also congrats Schuesseled :)

Except that the absolute earliest the "ultimate" could go off at would be turn 7, and at that point in a Boros deck you'll be pushing win-con elsewhere. The specific costs help keep him to decks of that particular color(s), and will probably restrict whether he actually would be a 3-drop.

The -3 really isn't all that great, considering you have to sac him the turn you play him for it to happen, and that -3 compared to +1 means he's either going to be using the -3 a couple of times, or shoot for the -7 once. The spacing is proper, as is the mana cost (even if it is hybrid).

Also, let it be noted that the reason I like a few days between pulling winners is so I have time to actually test play them for balancing. I put a lot of work into making these as viable as possible. :) And besides, Schuesseled is a bad*ss, so he needed a PW to match! :D

Either im really dumb or you made a slight mess up with the Ultimate.

Schuesseled deals 7 damage to each player. Which isnt bad by any means.

The mistake comes in when he says "for each player dealt damage this way, tap up to seven permanents they control"

That would include you because you were also dealt the 7 damage, effectively tapping 14 of both player permanents....

Not a mistake. That's why it states "UP TO". For yourself, you have to take the 7 damage, right along with everyone else, but you choose what to tap down. So for yourself, you choose nothing to tap down. It's the same reason they worded Ajani, Caller of the Pride 's +1 that way. If you don't have any creatures on the field, but your opponent does, you would be forced to place a +1/+1 counter on something (If that clause wasn't there). But it's good to know people are actually reading these things! Thanks for your concern TheSeventhNinja.
