Hey there TappedOut-ers! Xindlepete again. For those of you who dont know what Im doing here: I really enjoy coming up with new card concepts and ideas, and recently I've been making planeswalker mock-ups for friends both IRL and on the site! So if you would like to check out some of my handiwork to date, here's a link to my "TappedOut Mockups" folder on photobucket: TappedOut Mockups
Anyway, I've had such a blast coming up with custom planeswalkers for other users, I've decided to make a game of it! :D So here are the rules:
Send ONE email message to this address: [email protected] (this is a new email specifically for this. Please do not message me about anything not pertaining to this thread. It will just get deleted.)
In the RE: section give your TappedOut account name.
In the message type the name of your favorite deck posted on TappedOut, as well as what color(s) and gender you would like the PW to be.
I will repost this thread every Monday, and each Monday I will randomly draw one lucky winner out of the inbox! Back to one winner per week. (At the request of yeaGO!, our benificent leader.)
The lucky winner will receive a link on their page to their planeswalker, as well as a public link of the winning PW on the following week's Drawing.
Thank you in advance for participating, and Please Please PLEASE follow the rules! So far I appreciate everyones respect for the game as it stands. :D
P.S. for those of you who have submitted but did not win, I will leave your emails in the inbox, so there is no need to reapply! Good luck to everyone, and I look forward to hearing feedback from you winners!
And congrats to landgrafb, on being this week's winner! Here is the custom mock-up:
Remove the "if a spell already has cascade...." as having multiple instances of cascade trigger separately, so the wording if "You get an emblem with 'Spell you control have Cascade'" is sufficient. Unless you're trying to give the spell an extra Cascade for having Cascade, but the wording is very off if that is the case.

Oh. I wasn't entirely sure how multiple triggers were effected; your first statement is correct. It just gives everything one more instance of Cascade (0 Cascade now has 1, 1 Cascade now has 2, etc.)

Maelstrom Wanderer clarifies this well on the reminder text.

Alrighty. Thanks for the Maelstrom Wanderer tip on the reminder text. I didn't realize there already was a card with multiple instances of cascade.

lol that's what i thought the ulty was based off since the colours match up also.

With "spells you cast have cascade" wouldn't you just keep cascading, as cascade allows casting of the spell

You do not have to, since Cascade says you "MAY cast it without paying its mana cost." Though you do have to exile cards until you find a spell that costs less. Once you find one that costs less than the spell you cast initially, you can cast it for free, or you can not. Then you put all the exiled cards on the bottom of your library.

In test play it didn't seem to be a problem. There will be times when you play a 2cmc spell and not get anything too special. And keep in mind that every spell you cast, you have to go until you find a spell that costs less. You could cast a 6cmc creature but cascade into a 2cmc creature or spell. The numbers are simply against a perfect cascade run.

Whoops! I meant to change the middle ability back to a -3. Lemme change it real quick.
