Cool design! I may be wrong but I think WOTC avoids printing cards that make you remember things like this: what if you devour 5 creatures and there are 5 other creatures in your graveyard? How do you remember what activated abilities it has?
Doing something like "Each creature devoured by Gormog is exiled with a hunger counter on it" and changing the second line to "Gormog has all activated and mana abilities of creature cards exiled with hunger counters" or something like that would solve that problem. I doubt my wording there is perfectly rule-accurate but it would help playability
