Can't I make a Tergid deck and if I wanted to, switch out Chainer with it whenever I wanted? Chainer says cards from graveyard, and tergrid said when it's sacked or discarded, so if I have tons of make opponents sack and discard, plus regular black good stuff, it might not be like perfect CEDH, but it'd be decent with the artifacts and stuff
Do you think it's better to just choose one commander? from a CEDH standpoint Gidgetimer

Yes, absolutely. If you pick a single commander you could build the strongest deck for that commander, and then for a change of pace if you wanted you could switch in the other with the understanding that it isn't going to be nearly as good in that configuration as the one for which it was designed.

Gotcha, I actually quit on this deck and went with Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, fairly close to cEDH, definitely a good amount of low powered cards and too high of a mana cost cards I could replace. But it does see wins and it definitely works.

You could make a functional deck as you describe. Not only would it not be a perfect cEDH deck, it wouldn't be close to the best deck you could build for whichever on whatever budget you are building the deck on. But you could make a functional deck that can change commanders between those two.
