Stuck at 106 cards for R/W deck

I'm really happy with what I have at the moment for what's tentatively called Minesweeper Champions, but I'm stuck at 106 as the description says. I can get down to 102 before I start feeling like I'm losing something vital.
Another issue is that I don't have any counters at all, which could definitely hurt me in the early game. Or will I be alright without any? (I'll be honest, the majority of my decks have no counters or removals and I'm around 50/50 win-loss ratio in casual Standard)

It's been commented on by a ridiculous number of people I've played with, so I thought it was worth mentioning. It's good to know I'm not a total screw up. :P

There are no counterspells worth running outside of blue. There are plenty of strong decks outside of blue. Ergo counterspells aren't necessary for strong decks. Also I feel it worth mentioning since EDH is traditionally multiplayer that counterspells are significantly worse in multiplayer than 1v1 so it is not uncommon to see a deck with 0 counters even in blue.

It's a R/W deck... why would you have counter spells. As a control player I am confused.

As I said, it's been commented on, regardless of what deck I use or what colours I'm running. After so many people, it starts to seep in, you know?

The vast majority of decks have no counters at all. I am a bit confused as to why you feel it is an issue.
I'll take a look at your deck to see if there are any suggestions I can make.
