[EDH] Old Deck, New Idea or something between

Hi guys, I would be happy if you could give me some advice. I am currently playing the following deck in EDH:
Fjalir's white Rose
Commander / EDH
73 VIEWS
It's more of a fun deck as you can quickly see, because I and my playgroup prefer to build decks that tell something than just rely on the best engines. After missing a few sets, I sat down again and looked at what I can replace or improve upon, which is where I came up with this deck list:
Fjalir - New Idea
Commander / EDH*
4 VIEWS
What the deck should be, is in the first deck list and it is a Legendary Matters deck. Now to my question, are the changes really that good for the deck (beside the far better lands)? Would you take more cards from the previous deck with you in the new deck list? Or do you have ideas that I haven't even thought about? And preferably no cards where a copy costs $ 50 or more.
