Results From First League Show

So, the first league was in the Modern format and involved 36 players across 4 brackets. The results were as follows:

1st Place Ryotenchi (7 wins, 1 loss).

2nd Place GlistenerAgent (4 wins, 2 losses).

4th Place (joint) elpokitolama, ceji3, Dekordius (3 wins, 1 loss).

7th Place (joint) ThatJunkMage, Femme_Fatale, slovakattack (2 wins, 0 loss).

Well done to everyone who took part, and many thanks! It was great fun.

Sign-ups For Second Leagues Show

I am going to start taking sign-ups for 2 further leagues. The first league will be in the Modern format, and the second will be in the Standard format. These were chosen based on democratic vote. All standard rules of each format will apply.

Sign-ups will close on the 31st, at which point play will begin. I will produce the brackets and results sheets dont worry about that!

The general layout will be the same; I will randomise all players into brackets. Everyone aims to play everyone else in the bracket. Matches are to be scheduled on your own, at your own convenience. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss or for not playing a match. In order to schedule matches you can comment on peoples walls or join the facebook group here.

If you want to take part then just comment below specifying whether you want to sign up for the standard league, modern league, or both.

Add your Untap / Cockatrice details to this. The real name is included for those in the Facebook group so that we can contact each other via Facebook messages. Those who are not on Facebook obviously don't have to add their real name!

You may use only one deck. This is a competitive tournament. Once you have decided which deck to enter, make sure either I or Femme_Fatale know what it is. Either by tagging us in the COMMENTS section of the deck (NOT description), or by just linking it on my wall.

Oh, and one more thing: DO NOT SIGN UP IF YOU CANT ACTUALLY PLAY.
