ChiefBell: go ahead and sign me up for the modern league. I will be using my Mirror, Mirror in the Lab, but I might update the sideboard before the cutoff date. If I do I'll let you guys know. thank you.

It would be like the PT where there are x rounds of modern and y rounds of standard, not legacy vs standard mixed

"You may use only one deck. This is a competitive tournament. Once you have decided which deck to enter, make sure either I (ChiefBell) or Femme_Fatale know what it is. Either by tagging us in the COMMENTS section of the deck (NOT description), or by just linking it on my wall."

The_Gaga_Gecko it said in the description, however you can post on Bell's wall, or link him in the description for your desired deck explicitly stating what your purpose is on either.

I'm not playing. I just love Esper, and want to see a good pilot.
The scum comment was because TheHroth has a penchant for playing tier 1 decks, even if everyone else is trying to have a good time. :)

Any predictions on the meta? I've got a few jank decks, some more competitive decks, and just stuff, but I'm not sure what to play.

You won't know the meta until the tournament starts, so you won't see what everyone's playing until the last minute. I'm the only one who sees the list, though I choose my deck a long time ago.

Tier 1 decks are allowed and are expected to pop-up, but surprisingly, the last "jankier" tournament had more actual tier 1 decks than this one does. Note however, those tier 1 decks popped up late in the sign-up, so I expect this time around to get a lot of RDW, Twin and Abzan in the final week of sign-ups.
