I would like to do modern but do I have to join the facebook group?

Lists need to be submitted before Sunday the 31st. That's it. There are no rules on that.
No, you do not have to join the facebook group, though it makes organising a lot easier because we all use facebook chat. Regardless, if you feel confident that you can do without it, then there are no problems.

You sign up here by just saying 'I want to play in the X tournament(s)'.
You play on cockatrice or untap. You have to be somewhat flexible.

Read the OP.
The general layout will be the same; I will randomise all players into brackets. Everyone aims to play everyone else in the bracket. Matches are to be scheduled on your own, at your own convenience. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss or for not playing a match. In order to schedule matches you can comment on peoples walls or join the facebook group here.

Femme_Fatale - If they're going to be made public then it just doesn't matter. If people want them to give them to me and I hand them to you then really, it makes little difference. Especially as both these leagues are Tier 1. You can't really hate on Tier 1 especially well.
elpokitolama - Both these leagues are standard play. Not jank. They are tier 1.

ChiefBell is there any necessity to have Cockatrice, or can all matches be played on untap? Also, a somewhat tangent question, are we restricted to one decklist through the whole tournament, or can we mix and match?

It's generally just to make it easier for us to contact each other to organise games.
It's not directly related to this, but it is helpful for league games.
If everyone could add their details then it would be easier to see when others are online etc on untap or cockatrice.

I use cockatrice but have never used untap. I'm not opposed to downloading it, but I was just curious how much the two programs differ if any?

I'm checking it out right now ChiefBell. It is quite different. Once I learn the hotkeys I think I should be able to play games. I was able to upload a deck off here to test out solo and play around with the interface so I'm learning. I've got time before the tournament starts to get the hang of it so I think we'll be alright lol.

Yeah, I found a list of the hotkeys in the FAQ. It just seems unnatural compared to U to Untap and D to Draw. lol

ChiefBell, thanks, I was just clarifying, not that we're anything like it but untap challenge boards required no one deck, and VSL + SSL had decks changing from time to time.
