Songs in descriptions

The Blind Eternities forum

Simple question

1). Do you like songs in descriptions?

2). Do you like them to autoplay?

3). Do you get annoyed when certain types of music autoplay in deck descriptions?

4). What kind of music would you most like to hear autplay when you click on a deck?

No bashing of others opinions, no arguments, no fighting. Be excellent to each other.

My answer to all questions is only if the song is "never gonna give you up" by Rick Astley.

I don't like autoplay anything anywhere. From an administrative standpoint. Embedded opt-to-play stuff is acceptable.

I can't stand the autoplay, personally. The fact that volume levels aren't always set across-the-board with these things means you can enter a profile or deck page and be bombarded with incredibly loud music until you manage to find the source in a field of text and images.

Sure, you could mute your speakers...but that's bending over backwards for something that doesn't really deserve the effort. Opt-to-play all the way.

I don't like autoplay. I only like songs in the description if they're good, ie not dubstep.

I have my sound muted 24/7. All I'll get is a bit of a lag spike >.<

I'm very picky about my music, so questions 3 and 4 don't really apply to me because I would recommend music no one's ever heard of. However, I will agree that I don't like auto play. Oftentimes I get on this site in the middle of the night and forget my volume is up and if there's an auto play somewhere, it can disturb my roommates/family (depending on where I am). However, I do like songs in the description, even if I don't like the songs. It adds flavor to the deck.

Autoplay is a terrible tragedy to happen to the internet. Its bad enough that Facebook has decided to bring it back, even though its muted.

I guess its about time I got around to putting the songs that my decks are named after into their descriptions, so people have some frame of reference, but no autoplay.

Autoplay is terrible.

I dislike autoplay, opt to play is fine.
