I made major changes to the deck to really emphasize the Academy rector, Dracogenesis combo. Check out the new deck and let me know what you think!

tazorface6, You can! For casual games, what I do is buy a Land Station from Amazon, and affix proxies printed from a site like mtgprint.net that will let you print the deck list from an ink jet. If you are looking for official budget replacements for cards, anything should work fine as long as the core shell cards for the combo are in place. It would definitely take some thinking through which cards you'd want to cut.

Gandolfini thank you so much I am just looking to play sweaty fun casual games with friends. I am super new and they have been playing for a long time so I was to just hoping to replace some of the super expensive cards like the 100$ ones and keep all the core cards and main deck and hopefully make it work! And show up one day and them be like wtf is happening right now hahaha

on a serious note though, how does one format their description in such a compelling, marvelous way? Your primer is outstanding and the formatting choices you made have made it all the more enticing.

Andramalech Thank you, I appreciate that. I've always liked the 8-bit style, and thought it would make a nostalgic font for a deck primer. Of course, games haven't looked that way in quite a while, but I'm of a certain age, so I still recall it.
I've been working on this primer for a while now, but changes haven't been too frequent, but now with all the new cards being spoiled, I'm sure it will shake up this deck significantly! I'll need to think hard about what should be dropped and included. The recently spoiled Hammerhead Tyrant and Deceptive Frostkite look particularly useful and will probably find a home in the deck.

It's funny you should mention the Hammerhead as I have made a submission within the last few hours for it. I think this deck functions pretty well without such things, and if you're going to go the CEDH route you likely haven't seen anything too.. terribly important. Unless I'm missing something blatantly obvious, and if that's the case.. this deck is about to be 6x as good.

This is what happens when a Timmy gets pissed at their friend who loves playing combo, so then they spend 4 days in a Redbull and Tylenol-fueled haze learning everything they can on how to play combo in Commander just to spite that friend. Typically, most things that come out of hazes like that are batshit crazy and Bad, but this is so unique and crazy that I can't help but be impressed.
