Why no updates? —Feb. 1, 2019
This deck hasn't seen much play as FNM hasn't been firing at our LGS.
Effort is being spent on promoting other TCG like DBZ, and Star Wars™: Destiny.
Keyforge (which I enjoy better than Magic) has also taken some of the focus away.
Tonight, for example, only three people showed up for FNM. Me, StuBi, and a new player called John.
Since he was playing a Planeswalker deck, I grabbed the Sarkhan Planeswalker deck and StuBi helped him to make better play choices. An interesting evening but not how I want to spend most of my FNM time.
I have told a few people that I am slowly winding down how much money and time I invest in Magic.
I'm a bit tired of the pay to win mentality that dominates FNM. It makes the meta quite stale.
I will still play things like Frontier Brawl, Commander, and Duel Decks/Guild Kits, but after this deck rotates out, can't see myself building another Standard deck.
