Another small tweak —March 24, 2025

OUT: Sceptre of Eternal Glory, Dualcaster Mage
The return to Tarkir is coming as the next set, and it has graveyard interaction up the bum! Not only that, but in the last commander game I played my opponent looped Living Death about 4 times. I'm going to put my money where my mouth is and actually make progress into putting gravehate into every single one of my decks. Canoptek Scarab Swarm seems like it has the most synergy.
This deck does not need this much ramp. I'm cutting one of the ramp pieces. I saw my opponent play this Koth and I was impressed with how much work he did. He gains loyalty so fast! Not only that but all of his abilities are exactly what this deck wants to do. Not bad for a bulk rare!
Dualcaster Mage: This cut has been a long time coming. It's been on the chopping block for every evaluation of this deck for the last 4-5 cuts or so. Does copying a Cultivate or Demonic Tutor feel amazing? Does it have a high ceiling? Yes to both, but it's too situational. So many games that has just sat in my hand and/or when I finally did have a play with it, it wasn't enough. I'd rather just be on primary game plan and kill people.
