A friend of mine is playing this teshar eggs deck, it's built in paper for a low-budget moderate power level deck, so there are definitely upgrades that could be included, the most obvious of which being mana crypt and mox opal (maybe amber). It is pretty soft to teshar being removed a few times and it has a lot of moving parts and can struggle if it doesn't mind either some card advantage or a sac outlet, but it is surprisingly consistent and can go infinite on a huge variety of board states without any real dedicated infinite combos aside from scrap trawler/junk diver shenanigans. The deck can be complicated so I recommend really familiarising yourself with the list and Identifying what roles various cards play https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/teshar-ancestors-apostle/

I'm excited about this ^^ I recently made an avacyn, Angel of hope deck, that I'm really happy with (it's a wraths theme deck. Trouble to get card advantage? Let's have it virtually by setting everyone else behind via 2x1!). I have put a lot of care on getting actual card advantage in the deck, tho, and trying to make all the cards impact the board or generate immediate value. Also the ramp is nice too, It gets avacyn out quite consistently on turn 6 or 7. There are two mass land destruction cards in there tho, but they are the less "damaging" of them, cause I tried to not relay on mld too much. One is catastrophe (you can choose to destroy lands or creatures), the other is the fall of thran (that allows people to recover lands over time) and both cost 6 mana. You could easily swap the two of them for other things, tho. I run them to make winning a little faster. I'll put the deck on tapedout as soon as I can and post it here.

also i wanna say the elesh norn game was very instructive about how to build monowhite to get advantage. Due to having a lot of wraths, i excluded a lot of cards that require a bit of build around or staying in the board for a bunch of turns, because of the fact that my theme is be constantly destroying all the stuff. I wonder if i could fit in gauntlet of power, skullclamp or ugin in my decklist. I guess any of those cards could easily replace the mass land destruction ones i run, particularly ugin, which is on theme.

Here you have the list ^^ I put on the decription some of the more interesting psinergies and explained why some of the cards are there. We can discuss them in the comments if you wanna! I think you will like the deck, it has a bit of an angel tribal subtheme :D Cheers <3 http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/05-09-18-avacyn/ igar gar4 weeks ago (edited)

Btw i didn't mention in the description but the deck has 2 "stax" pieces in angel of jubilation and aura of silence. First cause the critter does like 3 things at once, helps with one of the weakness of the deck (strategies like meren's that have a lot recurrence with sacrifice and the like) and the anthem part can be very relevant if you get any of the token producers going. Second cause it's a recurrible disenchant with sun titan that slows down artifact decks and the deploying of opponent's mana rocks. Oh i also have the immortal sun that hoses planeswalkers but sincerely i don't care, i just want the card draw in that thing, the rest are super nice bonuses that come in handy.

Jamaigar gar2 weeks ago

Some avacyn, angel of hope fun for you. Details are explained in description. Ask me stuff if you are not sure about the card choices http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/05-09-18-avacyn/

Hey bro! When I learned that Mono-White was the weakest deck color in the format, my immediate response was "challenge accepted!", so I went about looking at ll the mono-white commanders and fell in love with Avacyn, Angel of Hope. However, the Angel Tribal deck I built became "too scary" for my playgroup so whenever I pulled her out, I was immediately targeted down by the table. So, I turned it into an Angel Tribal Lifegain deck with Lyra Dawnbringer at the helm. There's a lot of goodies in there and for a color lacking in ramp and card draw, it has a surprising amount of ramp and card draw xD. https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/12-01-18-divinity/?cb=1536165054

yoitsgunattack1 month ago

you kind of said "lets make a mono blue deck but with no counterspells, card draw or mana cheating" xD but here is my kemba deck I play alot it is aimed to be as strong as possible without passing any of those "grey areas" like infinity combos, land destruction ect ect.

NMS1271 week ago

I just put together this Evra, Halcyon Witness Voltron/control deck and tried it out Tuesday night: https://deckstats.net/decks/116319/1097148-evra

It wasn't particularly successful in the two games I played, but I may have had some bad matchups. Each game had one player aggressively attacking me because Evra is scary and one control player sitting back, ready to disrupt me with counters or removal. The only time I activated Evra was to raise my life total from negative to 4. Still, I think it's interesting. I'll be making some changes, but as you can see from the size of the maybeboard, I'm not sure whether to focus more on Voltron or control, or just tweak it a bit.

the goal os the deck is simple, cast Kemba, protect her, get an army then buff that army and swing with Kemba in front of them as a war leader. works on flavor and you really feel it in the gameplay. also, some of the cards abuse other people going infinitely like phyrexian rebirth which I have often had it after someone infinity token and pass, I simply cast it to put something like a sword of vengeance on the token and that's a dead player

this is more of a personal nostalgia deck for me than it is an actually competitive mindset brew. It does fairly well, but I play it for fun and memories over win percentages. This Mono-White Angels with some reanimation support. I use Akroma, Angel of Wrath as the commander but Lyra Dawnbringer would probably be better at the helm. She's in the 99 though, so it would be a quick swap.

http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/22-08-18-heliod/?cb=1536439928 So this is my actual Heliod deck in paper. While it has some disruptive elements, it's mostly a silly enchantress idea. I tried to keep LD out of it and focus mainly on pillow forting and protecting before winning with Angels. I think it works? I like it, at the least. It's consistently a threat to the table while also being not oppressive. I at least get compliments on how I don't run LD and still seem to be relevant.

Here is my submission for a mono white Angel Reanimator deck. It is a bit light in lands (33), I think cutting Aetherflux Resevoir and Test of Endurance for 2 more Plains is probably warranted. https://deckstats.net/decks/112595/1080523-lyra-angel-reanimator

creating a brew with jazal. btw you will modify sent-in decks by yourself? edit: well alright here is something quick i threw together http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/jazal-goldmane-deck-1/ i grabbed a deck already on the net as a quick frame and added the cards i use in my deck and cards i would love to use in my deck if they weren't so expensive or you know... if my flgs actually had those cards

the mana base and card draw might probably need some adjusting

Hey there. This is my Eight-and-a-Half-Tails Deck. It focuses on making sure your things are protected and that damage can't be dealt to you. Then just beating away at opponents or letting them handle one another. It is kind of like white control.

It'd be cool if you could take my Sram deck out for a spin:

It's designed for 1v1 so I'd be intrigued to see how it fairs in multiplayer.

This started as stax but turned into pillowfort reanimator. There may be some stax elemants remaining but I'll let you decide:

I'm running a Darien, King of Kjeldor deck on MTGO, which can be quite some fun. The only problem is the obivous missing of interactive pieces against combo and control decks. It has a nice little Urborg twist, but runs pretty well without it. I guess it plays similar to the Elesh Norn deck with the difference, that we have the token production included and are looking for the anthem effects, instead of the other way around. You can take a look at the decklist over here: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/27-01-18-pain-is-gain/?cb=1536186552

I've been trying to come up with a (somewhat) competitive mono white deck for a while. I've been messing around with eight and a half tails mainly, I want to try heliod again, but I'm most curious about my Teshar deck. I'm still trying to figure out the final deck list, but you should get the idea. https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/teshar-of-infinite-combos/?cb=1536179117

You: Mono white Challenge! Me: grabs Avacyn You: no MLD ME: looks at Avaycn

I have two other mono white decks so there shouldn't be a problem. But since I want to show my new build anyway:

http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/seven-deadly-sins-shatter-the-world/?cb=1536175463 Just cut: Armageddon, Cataclysm, Catastrophe, Fall of the Thran and Worldslayer And switch to: Sun Titan (yes i cut him...), Akroma's Vengeance, Tithe, Mask of Memory and Aura of Silence.

Soooooo, I will post Odric and his Keyword-Friends in a few days, really fun and since there is no budget i can ignore a bit of my budget tricks.

https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/darien-goes-down-the-road-1/ I have a couple of mono-white decks that aren't total jankmeister tier stuff. It seems like you're not asking for anything super combo intensive since you didn't want really unfair things like stax or MLD either so I'll mostly recommend my Darien white suicide deck. Its really commander intensive which isn't often a very good thing but I tried to include as much ramp and card draw as possible to make sure you can keep getting value and recasting him if need be.

My friend's Darien deck is pretty fun. I don't know if it's all the way there in terms of competitiveness but it can do a really nice job hurting itself. Entrapment maneuver is definitely a joke card in there http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/05-07-18-darien-king-of-kjeldor-edh/

Quick explanation: Themes are enchantments and creatures. Two infinite combos included which can be used as infinite damge or mill (see tappedout explanation). Besides: Adding green would add much power to it.
