Card Upgrade 39 —May 15, 2019

-Liliana's Triumph

+Sensei's Divining Top

I was able to get a couple games in and managed to draw Liliana's Triumph. There were always multiple creatures under at least one opponents control and I didn't always have my Liliana flipped. I was able to cast it once for full value and in that situation it ate two creatures and the last card in one opponent's hand as well as one of multiple cards in the other two opponent's hands.

My take away is that when it lines up the card can be very powerful, but it isn't a consistently good card. I can't abuse it with reanimation and I can't use it to flip Liliana. I'm cutting it for Sensei's Divining Top because I probably have enough spot removal in the deck so I don't feel I need to replace it with another kill spell. Top lowers the curve a bit and can help smooth out my draws. It may be a bit durdley, but until I get a Xiahou Dun, Top is a perfectly fine replacement.

Very well built deck bro. Definitely a +1 from me. I'm a well seasoned Magic player and I assume you are as well with the way the deck is built. I saved it to see if it could help me fine tune my Whisper, Blood Liturgist deck.

I appreciate you including an adequate amount of card draw and ramp in the deck. That, to me, is by far the most important part. I honestly don't have any recommendations because I think it's very tuned to do what you want it to.

Would you mind checking out my Whisper deck and possibly giving me some suggestions if you can think of any? I'd appreciate it.
