Deck Update! -&- Deck Page Interface Fix Underway! —Aug. 24, 2021

Good evening, everyone! It's been a long time since I've posted anything here. It's also been a long time since I've tweaked anything either. I've come along to address and fix some problems I've found with both the deck and the programming language on the deck's edit page.

DECK CHANGES: - OUT: Beacon of Unrest, Chainer, Dementia Master, Diabolic Tutor, Sorin Markov, Underworld Connections. - IN: Black Sun's Zenith, Endless Cockroaches, Entomb, Entreat the Dead, and Shizo, Death's Storehouse.

If anyone needs me to, I can further explain why these changes were made another time. To keep things to the point, these alterations were made to increase deck utility, improve threat response, and streamline functionality. The things I took out were either hardly used, had limited functionality, weren't as cost efficient enough, and/or didn't provide enough situational flexibility I wanted. Necessity is the catalyst for innovation. Each of these changes were sculpted from data I collected through a series of both 1 on 1 and full pod games that suffered from poor performances.

PAGE UI AND DECK DESCRIPTION CHANGES: If you've visited this deck page before, you would know that this deck used to have a plethora of tabs that broke everything down to its smallest unit. Unfortunately, I somehow broke the coding language and will need to start almost completely over. Fortunately, this will allow me to refine the information featured. I'll have to sift through all of my archived information before formally publishing it again.

Below are the current infinite combos featured in this deck.

  • Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion = Infinite combo for Infinite damage: A combo so easy even a caveman could do it. Remove two counters to ping an enemy and then remove the last one to ping itself. It dies and comes back with an extra counter. Remove three counters to ping an enemy and then remove the last one to ping itself. Since Mikaeus gives it Undying, it will automatically return to the battlefield so you can proceed to remove all of the counters from him again and again and again in this manner forever! Hooray!

  • Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood = Infinite life gain for you and infinite life loss for your opponents: With this combo, you will infinitely gain all of the life that all of your opponents are infinitely losing so long as you can trigger it by either gaining 1 life or making a player lose 1 life while both enchantments are on the field.

  • Wurmcoil Engine/Grave Titan + Ashnod's Altar + Nim Deathmantle = Infinite creature tokens and Infinite Colorless Mana In order to make this combo work properly, you must sacrifice either Grave Titan or Wurmcoil Engine and one token that those creatures generate to Ashnod's Altar. Then use the 4 colorless mana generated to bring back Grave Titan or Wurmcoil Engine and repeat this process infinitely. A magnificent horizon of game winning options will open up.

  • Sword of the Paruns + Magus of the Coffers + 6 Swamps = Infinite Black Mana In order to pull this combo off, Magus of the Coffers needs to have Sword of the Paruns equipped to him. First, you tap 2 Swamps to activate his ability and add 6 Black to your mana pool (Note: This is the only time that you will need to tap any land). Then, you will need to use 3 Black generated by Magus of the Coffers in order to pay to untap him with Sword of the Paruns. Lastly, you will need to use 2 more Black generated by Magus of the Coffers' ability to tap him and use his ability again. Each time you follow through with this combo, you will be left with a remainder of 1 Black - this is what adds up to give you infinite mana.

Just in case you weren't aware, with the M21 update commanders will hit the graveyard or exile before you can return them to the command zone. This means you can ease up a little on the graveyard returning cards if you want to include some other stuff!! But if it's more efficient than recasting from the command zone each time then disregard this. Great deck!!
