Talon Gates
Plane — Dominaria
Any time you could cast a sorcery, you may exile a nonland card from your hand with X time counters on it, where X is its converted mana cost. If the exiled card doesn't have suspend, it gains suspend. (Exile it with X time counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter. When the last is removed, cast it without paying its mana cost. If it's a creature, it gains haste until end of turn.)
Whenever you roll the Chaos Symbol, remove two time counters from each suspended card you own.

So obviously Bolas is about to open a YUGE can of whup-ass on Amonkeht. But what do y'all think comes after?
Is this all just about making a giant army of Zombies to create some interplanar chaos? If so, do you think he's headed back to the Talon Gates on Dominaria, or somewhere else? (Some early Bolas lore is here, if you're all, "What's a Talon Gate?")
Also, any ideas on what Bolas plans to do with all the lazotep? Wizards made a point about everyone getting "lazotep" spindowns and pyramid-shaped D4s as the AKH Pre-release, so I've kind of been keeping an eye on it. It's made the flavor texts and art of Stone Quarry, Shimmerscale Drake, and Sacred Excavation, but so far there's only been one passing reference in Magic Story:
Awkward figures wrapped in white linen bent and dug in the harsh sands. Mummies, they called them. The anointed. Hundreds, thousands of the mummies dug into a deep pit, pulling out a blue ore. Cartloads of the ore snaked their way in a large procession toward the city.
Finally, I'm wondering if there may actually be some hope for Amonkhet after all the devastation. The art on Ramunap Excavator (back on Post #120) just seems TOTALLY out of place with everything else that's going on. And while Nissa, Genesis Mage's name (same post) may just be a reference to her Genesis Wave-like ultimate, I'm wondering if maybe she ends up sticking around afterwards to rebuild Amonkhet.
Or maybe it's just because she likes the band ...
