Brave the Wilds

Sorcery

Bargain (You may sacrifice an artifact, enchantment, or token as you cast this spell.)

If this spell was bargained, target land you control becomes a 3/3 Elemental creature with haste that's still a land.

Search your library for a basic land card, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle.

Hey Icbrgr after testing the Scythe Tiger I found it actually plays surprisingly similar to Brave the Wilds: A resilient 3/3 for 1 that eats a land. However, Brave is more flexible because you can use it unbargained + also gives haste which has been relevant. I won some games with tiger but generally it was just used as an extra creat to go over the top with a wide board, playing turn 1 tiger never really felt like something I wanted to do.

You know Icbrgr I don't think I've ever played against Scythe Tiger in pauper nor have I considered running it myself. It's certainly on brand for the deck, the shroud is really nice. I think one problem would be that it's already a low-land count deck and effects like Brave the Wilds already use up lands so to speak. The more I think about it the more losing a land seems really rough in a format where the majority of strats are trying to drop a Writhing Chrysalis or Pactdoll Terror asap and your tiger won't manage to get more than a couple swings in...
