The thing is, my "change the fetchies" suggestion only really works in conjunction with the "change the shocks" suggestion.

Think about sequencing. Sure, your flicker spells are cheap to cast, but you can only ever cast them after you set up your other stuff. Also, the cards that severely improve your color/mana situation are green as well, and you want to be casting those early game.

What I'm trying to say is, your mana base has been failing because you've watered down the odds of drawing into any particular color by mismatching fetches and shocks as well as the distribution thereof.

In what I initially suggested, the fetches have an underweight in green - because preferably you want to be naturally drawing into those (since your early game spells are green, and you need lots of green pips). Those fetches also happen to have an overweight in white - most your flicker spells are white, but that's not happening until you have somewhat stabilized. And since you'd be playing 4 breeding pools, it would make up for the underweight in blue (fetch-wise).

I know you like the Hallowed Fountains because they cast all your flicker spells, but it's actually a trap. Having 2 in your hand early game is like having 2 dead cards - the correct (imho) number of Fountains is 0 or 1.

Not trying to be a smart-ass here :D just sharing some of the lessons I learned. You could copy the alternate landbase into an empty list with the rest of the deck and do some playtesting maybe to see if it works for ya.

Try this:

Replace 2x Hallowed Fountainfoil with 2x Breeding Poolfoil.

Replace 4x Misty Rainforest with 2x Flooded Strand and 2x Windswept Heath.

Replace 1x Island and 1x Plains with 2x Forest.

I know why you did what you did, but give my setup a shot for a few playtests.

The problem with your manabase is that it's quite scattered, even if the numbers seem to check out in the pie chart. You need lots of green pips, and lots of isolated pips in general, so you can't even out on fetches and shocks.

Draw forests more naturally. Get dorks online. Fetch pips you didn't draw. Minimize lands like Hallowed Fountain that can't pay for your multicolored spells in a deck with more than 2 colors. What I mean by that is, those are UW in your deck, so hallowed fountain sucks, since you're gonna need another land anyway to pay for multis, but you need green too. Possibly get rid of the fountains alltogether.
