This is the page for the Thannalid tribe for the T/O Community Set Project. Full description will be made momentarily.

The Thannalids are a tribe of Fungus Shamans that spread their spores across the land to grow their homes.

Please suggest any form of good BG pre and pos war mechanics. There is actually a lot of really good ideas coming in and we are in hot contenders for the best two spots.

• Plague Spewer —
• Creature — Fungus Shaman
• When Plague Spewer enters the battlefield, entomb 6. (Look at the top 6 cards of your library. Put one of those cards into your graveyard and put X +1/+1 counters on Plague Spewer where X is equal to the converted mana cost of the entombed card.)

• Swamp Trudge —
• Sorcery
• Remove X +1/+1 counters from target creature you control. Then put a creature card with converted mana cost X or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.

• Spore Guru —
• Creature — Fungus Shaman
• Ungrave (: Remove X +1/+1 counters from target creature you control. Return this card from your graveyard to your hand. Ungrave only as a sorcery.)

• Germination —
• Enchantment
• Sacrifice a nontoken creature: Put X 1/1 black and green Fungus Saproling creature tokens into play, where X is that creature's toughness.

• Estrangle —
• Instant
• Target creature you control fights target creature you don't control. Germinate. (You may sacrifice a nontoken creature you control. If you do, put X 1/1 black and green Fungus Saproling creature tokens onto the battlefield, where X is the sacrificed creature's toughness.)

• CARDNAME —
• Creature — Fungus
• Growth 2 (Whenever a noncreature token creature dies, put a growth counter on CARDNAME. At the beginning of your upkeep you may remove 2 growth counters from CARDNAME. If you do, put a +1/+1 counter on CARDNAME.)
• "There's a fungus among us."

I'm doing this "in secret" because I don't know if I'm actually going to be available for more discussion or not. I don't want to get people into this only to have the person who works on these displays to not be here.

I've also been doing a lot of cube and custom set analysis, so I have a much stronger grasp on card power level. Cards overall have been overpowered, most likely because of me, so I've been decreasing much of what I thought was too strong.
