Queazy Queza PEDH (Cantrip, Ping)

Pauper EDH* WUB (Esper)

Fudgefalcon

Maybeboard

I built this deck for a friend of mine but the more I play test it, the more I must also have it for my own. I tried to make this deck to be equally ping style effects and cantrip/draw effects. With over 30 cards that allow draw, you will rarely have an empty hand. My favorite part of this deck is you are drawing cards often and you are gaining life often. Since the life gain pieces are triggering often you can take more hits from your opponents and still keep your creatures safe. As many of the creatures boast a ETB effect, losing them to blocking isn’t the end of the world (you already got the value you were looking for). Wheel effects are hard to come by so I included pseudo wheel cards like Flux Whirlpool Rider and Tolarian Winds to shock your opponents for high damage/big life gain. When discarding cards like this, having a Forever Young in your hand can get you some of your graveyard back after dumping your hand. Having 3 colors can be a challenge in pauper due to the slowness of lands entering tapped. Due to this I included plenty of artifact ramp to fix your mana before casting your commander turn 3-4. A little about the ping-ers! Marauding Blight-Priest and Epicure of Blood are powerhouses in this deck! You will almost always use the transmute cost when playing Perplex to find Marauding Blight-Priest. Don’t sleep on Perplex however. If an opponent absolutely needs a spell to resolve it may tempt them into discarding their whole hand. In pauper, not having any cards in hand is a death sentence especially if your board state is lacking. The same can be said when using transmute on Muddle the Mixture to find Suture Priest or Blood Seeker. All in all, this deck will definitely stand against other pauper decks in your playgroup and I’m interested in what you guys might have done differently!
