Tainted Remedy was in because a deck like this wins after a cascade of opponent life loss triggers. This can be easily disrupted by lifegain on the opponents side. However, y'all are correct in that it doesn't advance my game plan. Chop chop.

Bloodchief Ascension is a pet card. It is also a card that has won me numerous games on its own. It would be easy enough to get 3 counters with Kambal's trigger but again, not directly tied to tokens. Good suggestion albeit a painful one.

Halo Fountain just seemed like a fun and wierd alt-win con but your right that it is slow. It also requires me to have tapped creatures.

Going to take a closer look at the aristocrats support. I cut a lot of the sac outlets earlier which was a good observation. Nadier's Nightblade and Mirkwood Bats will definitely stay but a lot of the others can go. Also, Ophiomancer and Dreadhorde Invasion don't work at the level they should without a sac outlet on the board.

Not sure about Battle Angels of Tyr just yet, since just attacking creates token copies of himself. But he'll be close to the cut list.

Part of the reasoning on the number of board wipes was the number of indestructible options for Kambal. Will cut at least one board wipe tonight.

Refering to Basshunter's commnent, I haven't put the final mana base in just yet but Forbidden Orchard will be in there. Mana bases tend to only take me 5 minutes to build. I have some effects that give tokens to my opponents but I'm leaning more heavily into Kambal's second ability. I've generally been looking at consistent token generation instead of one off effects aimed at my opponents. However, Curse of Disturbance will get another look.

Hi, imo you need more token creators that create tokens for everyone or for your enemies. You dont need tokens for your own...think about cards like Forbidden Orchard, Hunted Horror, Slaughter Specialist, Curse of Disturbance, Tombstone Stairwell, Clackbridge Troll, Infernal Genesis, Hunted Lammasu, Tribute to Horobi  ^Flip, Shadrix Silverquill You should cut cards like Ophiomancer, Skrelv's Hive or Bitterblossom

Ok, I've used all of those cards befor and the problem with them is

• Indulgent Tormentor, it's just a bad card, if it was 4 mana to cast I'd say yea it's just another version of Loyal Subordinate and you can run it. With giving your opponents 3 options it's bad.

• Visara the Dreadful, the cost to cast this at 6 mana is really one of the biggest problems with this card. Secondly, because it doesn't have haste, you'll have to wait a turn to use it. It's tap ability to destroy is really what's the best part of the card but because it's a tap ability you can't attack with the flying 5/5. That also applies to Avatar of Woe. Although Dread doesn't do anything that you can see (like Ghostly Prison). It seems like it's a bad card. But it's not. It hits for 6 with fear. And protection from the crack back.

In my honest opinion, you'd be better off running Royal Assassin in place of Visara the Dreadful or WOE. And running Ophiomancer in place of Dread.

@Basshunter: Thanks for the input. There are a few things I feel the need to justify keeping in though.

The primary reason I have Paragon of Open Graves and Hero's Blade is so I can easily buff up Sarevok, causing his ability to drain extra life when it triggers. Death-Priest of Myrkul is somewhat expensive, but when he's out, I just got to pay a mana at the end of each turn to ensure I maintain a consistent fuel supply for Cultist (and a lot of my token generation is zombies anyway so... bigger dead dudes.). Similar vein, Palace Siege allows me to sac something to Cultist then play it again on the same turn, which goes real good with Gray Merchant of Asphodel for life gain and Doomed Dissenter for a free Zombie token, if I just don't sac Gravecrawler to play it again cause it cheap.

Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon and Squelching Leeches are mostly there to be big beefy bois if I need them, but yeah, of the suggestions you've made, I'd probably swap them for Black Market Connections and Priest of Forgotten Gods to net me some more card draw. Ophiomancer, Grave Titan and Phyrexian Altar are also on my radar.

Not a fan of Skullclamp, at least in this deck. I'd need either altars or Yahenni, Undying Partisan out to actually get consistent value out of it, otherwise I'd need to pay for another sac outlet.

its a really nice deck idea, but in my opinion, you got

1. too much stuff in your deck that doesnt fit to the theme like Squelching Leeches, Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, Paragon of Open Graves, Infernal Scarring, Grasping Shadows  ^Flip, Hero's Blade and maybe some others..

2. you are really high cmc for a sac-deck. maybe upgrade to a lower cmc and faster deck..i.e. change Diabolic Tutor with Diabolic Intent, Death-Priest of Myrkul, Stir the Sands or Palace Siege is expensive too - and they dont even fit very well to the theme. You can change your reanimation-spells to low cmc like Reanimate or Animate Dead aswell

3. To get rid of the fuel-problem, get some cards like Black Market Connections (awesome here), Blight Mound, Ophiomancer, Grave Titan ...

4. Upgrade sac-outlets: Phyrexian Altar, Priest of Forgotten Gods, Viscera Seer, Skullclamp

So all together you should fit the theme more, search for cheaper cmc cards that do the same and get some more token-stuff

Karmic Justice > Martyr bond?

You got a relatively low avg cmc and your commander costs 5, have you considered adding more ramp?

Given all your token production, perhaps a Contamination? Goes well with Ophiomancer.

Profet93 the devil is in the details as they say and magic is no exception.

As of now I have only used Peer into the Abyss on myself, though the dream is there to combo with bowmasters. Orcish Bowmasters has been a great include as it provides consistent board presence (which is extremely effective offensivly and defensively) and incremental damage throughout the game. In similar ways Ophiomancer functions in a similar role.

As for the removal of Platinum Angel, it happened to me recently and it was honestly a pretty fun moment with my buddies. When it happened, I did have an alternate path for Phage but did not choose to go that way. Reflecting on the game made me recognize the fragility of Platinum Angel and the importance of knowing your opponent's deck and board state. This leads to one of the things I love about the deck, the precision in timing needed for so many pieces of the deck.

I find that having multiple effects like Soul Conduit are helpful with consistency with so many life as a resource effects in the deck. I find people will often counter the flashy spell Profane Transfusion but would let Soul Conduit resolve knkwing it's mana investment. Additionally the benefit of repeatable use and the ability to exchange two opponent's life total has shown itself to be quite useful at times.
