Legendary Snow Planeswalker - nammertime

When casting this spell, each can instead be paid with and 2 life.

Hexproof

This spell can't be countered.

+3: Add three mana in any combination of colors and types. If unspent, you don't lose this mana as steps and phases end.

-X: Add mana in any combination of colors and types. This mana may only be spent to cast spells accessible from this ability. Then, you may play a card you own from your hand, from the command zone, from your graveyard, or from anywhere in exile with mana value or less. If it's a spell, it gains split second.

-12: Each player's life total becomes the number of loyalty counters on nammertime. You gain 12 life.

When nammertime is put into a graveyard or is put into exile from anywhere, its owner shuffles nammertime into their library.

Fair is fair.

============================================

Hi. Revised-era player here, though I played other card games (no regrets, they were fun, like Spellfire) when MTG first came out.

For a time, I loved combo decks, back when combos weren't game-busting and you had to jump through five hoops to get an infinite. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a bad thing to have quick and awesome synergies, but I don't have the same fun with it as many players I've met.

My thing is old-school beat'em-up decks - board advantage with creatures or permanents with some neat synergies and as much as possible, straight-up slugfests with other players' also-developed boards, so my favored deck designs lean toward that. I do have some other types of decks for variety's sake, though.

I've been playing EDH almost exclusively for basically decades now (since its inception - I have two decks that have been around forever), mostly because at the time, it was rare (and fun) to see those decks, and now, it's easier to build them than 60-card ones.
