That is the amazing thing about this deck as that games are always exciting and very rewarding to win, lately my play group has got into Kingdoms and it's Expanded version and this deck plays amazingly as it's a game running around politics and clever plays. We had a player go near infinite with a tooth and nail copied 3 times with Riku. He was going off on how great his deck is and nobody beats it ever. We dropped selfless squire, put it up to an arbitrarily large number (past 500 when we gave up counting) and just used key to the city to make it unblockable ran a full 12 hours of games and it was the most fun I've had in a single night of magic. Everything about the kingdoms game mode plays into this deck and if you can get 6 people willing to play I strongly recommend it

@precociousapprentice, absolutely my [email protected], I want to put one in honestly but that's purely in case I'm desperate for a source and have a way to fetch it. In all my games that's never been a scenario that's occurred yet but I'm sure one day it will happen, so on one hand if it's not broken why fix it, but also when/if it happens it'll hurt

For me it's the life-link and being able to swing, I have a few combo player's in my meta, so sitting back and waiting for them to play a winning combo is to risky, so running Gisela plus Hatred gives me the option to take them out when I can, it's going a bit more aggressive than I would normally in a game but if all my opponents aren't playing aggressive deck I need something to threaten them. Is there anything else you are curious about?

@ Sensei/precociousapprentice, I've been look at this deck as a type of catch all deck and really reading what you say to get myself as appropriate in a mind set as I can to optimally pilot this deck. But I was curious if there are answers to some fringe decks like Mill. We have a deck or two floating around my lgs that I haven't had to go up against yet but don't see an out for us there. I'd love to hear your thoughts

Okay this game was savage, I'm now banned from playing this deck,(Ghartu token/counters, Ezuri unblockable, Heliod swarm). The Ghartu eventually amassed and army of massive tokens with counters and a bunch of outlast creatures on the field, we flashed out our best friend,Selfless Squire, and stopped 94 damage. Exiled his only blocker and swung for lethal. Then the Heliod player scooped because he didn't want to deal with the boardstate, the Ezuri player had a Kalonion Hydra and several 10/10 squids (Chasm Skulker and Ezuri) we used Dawn Charm to prevent the damage (Up to 198 on Squire). Then used Act of Aggression to steal the Kalonnion on our turn, swing with Squire (Who then was doubled) and with his Hydra. He stack blocked and survived with 2 health. We held onto an Anethomancer from the early game and he happened to have a reliquary tower and Llanowar reborn. We dropped it to a fit of hysteria and swear words. I will let you guys know any more funny stories if I get to play again but that may be it for a time!
