This helped me immensely with my own brew, mine differs by splashing white for Ixalan's Binding, Hidden Stockpile and Settle the Wreckage in the side board. With Rivals of Ixalan out I also dedicated 4 slots to Golden Guardian which makes Herald of Anguish look really good, however I do agree that I'd rather have Marionette Master as a finisher instead.

I was play testing this against my aristocrat brew and damn have I learnt a thing or 2. Our decks are honestly extremely similar but I focus more on Syndicate Trafficker and Golden Guardian.

Twilight Prophet is insane, considering how easy it is to ascend. But the main difference came down to Shefet Dunes. This is a really solid build, though if I were to change anything I would drop Paladin of Atonement for Gifted Aetherborn.

As for the maybeboard I would recommend going Anointed Procession rather than Winding Constrictor for Elenda, as double the tokens dying is a preferable alternative to getting double the counters. I wouldn't play it just for Vraska. Besides the deck itself is going wide.

Wayward Swordtooth would work considering how fast the deck ascends, but I would prefer any of the other 3 drops you already have over it. 2x Yahenni and 1x Rishkar looks great though.

There's a lot of really nice incidental synergies in this deck. Doomed Dissenter in particular works really well with Plague Belcher as a thing to dump neg 1 tokens onto and also trigger the secondary drain ability. Perfect 2 drop.

If you want to lean more into etb triggers perhaps Supernatural Stamina is worth considering?

As for the Manglehorn and Thrashing Brontodon thing, I agree with wakawakawaka it's a better fit imo and still has synergy. It can sacrifice itself so the 4 toughness really isn't anything to worry about.

4 toughness will also really help you against aggro decks.

You have about 20 other creatures that will die easily to counters or Yahenni's Expertise not to mention Yahenni, Undying Partisan himself. So I don't really think it'll be a problem however its something worth play testing to get right.

As for Golden Guardian personally I don't think its a great fit for this deck in particular. Has no sacrifice outlets, no etb, 4 toughness, defender and doesn't even go to the graveyard due to transform. It would fit much better in a deck like Aristocrats.

That being said it fits better here than in most other decks.
