I suggest playing Mavren Fein, Dusk Apostle. It's just... amazing, especially since your deck wants to be attacking with it's vampires every turn.

Speaking of the fast action of your deck, there's two cards in here that are outliers on your curve: Encampment Keeper and Blight Keeper. Your deck is not the kind that ever wants to get up to eight mana, so you're never gonna use the activated ability. Their stats are horrible for their cost, and they aren't even Vampires. Swap those out to run more vampires; I suggest running an extra two copies of Bishop's Soldier and two Mavren Fein, Dusk Apostle.

Looks real good in general.

I'd suggest Liliana, the Last Hope, but I know you're trying to stay budget, so I won't. Cemetery Recruitment is a hidden power in a deck like this.

You know this deck isn't standard, right? Standard is a format that contains only the sets Kaladesh, Aether Revolt, Amonkhet, Hour of Devastation, and Ixalan. You can change the format to Modern or Casual.

DefMiksiCool, cool. I'm gonna go make a pauper commander deck now, because it looks like such a fun format.

Huh! I have not, but it's also not clearly defined anywhere that that's what this deck is. Maybe put it in the description that that's the format?

Have you ever played Commander before? Your commander can only be a Legendary Creature, so you can't use Azure Mage.

matchgrizzle He covered that already. He's giving everybody enough card draw that the card draw effect will never trigger, and the land effect just isn't enough for that much mana.

ibstudent2200 I think you're missing three things:

-I made this deck in about five seconds, and just to play against a friend.

-I have no money.

-I own literally none of the cards you recommended.

Fatal Push doesn't play that well, despite the hype. Swap those out for Walk the Plank, which is almost always unconditional; nobody really plays the merfolk deck.

Heheh. This is the kind of deck I'd play, honestly.

Legion's Landing  Flip seems a lot more effective in this deck than Arguel's Blood Fast  Flip. You didn't really build around that Yahenni, Undying Partisan, so if I were you I'd take those out and add in Queen's Commission. Fatal Push doesn't really play all that well unless you built around it, despite all the hype, and it's really your only piece of removal. Never / Return is good, but the best piece of removal in standard right now is Walk the Plank, which, look, nobody is really playing the Menfolk deck. This is a two-mana unconditional removal spell.

You really aren't running enough ramp for what you're trying to do. Decks like these usually only need 4-8 huge creatures and everything else should be ramp.

What's this deck trying to do? I don't think I quite understand. Am I just dumb?

Metallic Mimic is a fun card. It'll make all the things that summon vampire tokens much better.

Out of curiosity, why are you not running Vona, Butcher of Magan? Your deck seems a little light on removal, so Vona, Butcher of Magan seems like quite an effective card.

Ghosty Market can also get them to the graveyard.

Mono-blue =/= Samut. This deck title is misleading.
