My friends got me into this when M13 came out where we played a color wheel, which was my first game (I played black). I kinda liked it at first and just played to keep up so they had another person to play with, but quickly got hooked. I don't usually buy specific cards (most of my friends who play do, though); I just use things I get from boosters or trades, so my decks may or may not be unbeatable, but they should at least be a challenge if I've tweaked and refined them enough.
