Laboratory Maniac is a nice choice for the Llanowar Scout + Retreat to Coralhelm + Simic Growth Chamber combo cause you can have out tatyova draw your library in a controlled fashion and play lab man when he gets drawn

I very much dislike evolution sage in these decks as it will never do enough or what you think it will do. Lands seems like it has these types of pitfalls like Worm Harvest , once you play with it you realise it really isn't anywhere near good enough to stay in the deck, but on paper it looks nice, you realistically never have as many lands in the grave as you think you will. Evolution Sage suffers as you really gotta bank on it ulting something which will usually end up as windgrace, which is by no means bad, I just think there are probably cards that would let you win faster rather than the sage who does not really develop your wincon.

Hoobynobber7395 those cards are far too expensive to stay under the $10 limit especially considering that this is using new/mint pricing, and those $2 cards are 1/5 of the budget. 40 basics are there because he ran out of budget and he could only use lands to fill the slots to get the deck to the required 100 cards. I may not be the creator, but thats what my thoughts are.

Playing big creatures and quickly giving them swords can never go horribly wrong

Honestly I don't find Worm Harvest useful. I used to run it in my windgrace deck, but whenever I draw it I found myself thinking that I would rather have any other card. It never creates enough tokens and it is never relevant enough. When I do scapeshift and go nuts in one turn it is the last thing that I would want to do as I am winning or almost winning off of scapeshift, even when I don't, I use Splendid Reclamation to bring lands back and win. I would take it out and replace it with maybe Realms Uncharted . I'm not sure how much is applicable, but I also dislike evolution sage personally as it doesn't set up any wins immediately(I do admit that you can scapeshift with it and a beefy avenger for some large plants, but thats two cards and easy to wipe away as people typically do as soon as possible when avenger is dropped, but I would still rather drop a massive craterhoof as he can be used with more cards and is a nice big boy win con in general) and I don't get enough things that can use proliferate effectively to make it justifiable to play (I typically go games with casting windgrace once or twice fully prepared for him to immediately die). That may not be applicable to you as you play more cards that can use it than me, but that still is only 8 cards.
