I've messed around with this deck quite a bit and your list is almost identical to my own. After a lot of playtesting I swapped out 3x Warlord's Fury and 1x Riddleform for 3x Chart a Course and 1x Merfolk Trickster. I found that the first strike from Warlord's Fury goes to waste more often than not. Sometimes it helps, but it's usually just a cantrip for prowess. In that capacity, Chart a Course is strictly better, even pre-combat. There's typically at least one dead-ish card in your hand, which you won't feel bad chucking in the bin. Merfolk Trickster is just an awesome Deus Ex Machina wizard when you need to survive just... one... more... turn :)

Buccaneer's Bravado is the whole point of playing this deck. It's the best finisher for an aggro tribal deck that you could ask for.

I dig it. I've built an aggro version of this deck and it's performed really well so far. I took second at FNM last week and I could've won if I hadn't flooded out twice in the finals. Karn seems like the best option for card draw with a midrange deck like you've got here. The aggro version that I'm running uses Ruin Raider instead (this card is criminally underplayed).
I don't see Torment of Hailfire in your mainboard. Torment them!

It seems like you're going for a sort of aggro midrange. I wonder if you'd be better off fully committing one way or the other?
My main suggestion is Fatal Push. Push is still the most efficient removal in the format and an absolute must-include imo.

Spirits Vorine is hot garbage in a Mirri deck. It's ONLY good because of Arahbo's Eminence trigger, but with that trigger it's an absolute monster. Anything 4/4 or smaller is forfeit to Vorine's voracious appetite. Not even tapping can save them. Throw on another buff of some sort and it'll take down just about anything. Card is busted in this deck and horrible everywhere else haha.

Dude. Krosan Vorine. Card is insane in this deck.

It's an interesting list. I'm trying something similar by extending Merfolk to include Muldrotha, the Gravetide and The Scarab God. Explore triggers dig up the finishers and send permanents to the graveyard for recursion later. Silvergill Adept is as effecient as ever and World Shaper becomes a very intriguing 4 drop. Let me know what you think.
I don't think there's quite enough pieces for a pure lands deck yet, but we're getting there. We basically need World Shaper, except better and cheaper to make the deck work.

multimedia Thanks for the upvote and feedback. I've considered more Hallar but he's pretty meh unless you have time to accumulate that value. So you're never happy about seeing two in your hand. One of my favorite aspects about Hallar is that people want to save removal for scarier threats until he's accumulated a couple counters, at which point he's probably done his job in terms of value. That deep into the game you aren't really trying to rebuild another Hallar.
Elfhame Druid is the real appeal of a kicker deck IMO.
I'm so back-and-forth on Ancient Animus. It seems so inconsistent. It could work with all the legendaries and care-about-counters cards though.
I agree that the double red ruins Verix Bladewing for this deck :(
