Will Hydra Omnivore and Chandra's Ignition deal absurd amount of damage?

If I use Chandra's Ignition and targeting Hydra Omnivore, and I have three opponents on the table, wouldn't it deal, instead of 8 damage each, 24 damage to each opponent?

For those that don't know, Chandra's Ignition reads:

"Target creature you control deals damage equal to its power to each other creature and each opponent. "

No, because Hydra Omnivore specifies "Combat damage" and Chandra's Ignition is not combat damage.
