Tokens + Dragonrage + Crater's Claws, does it work?

Lets say I run a rampaging token deck that has rage and claws in it. I use rage after I declare attackers, then use the mana to pump claws. Does the combo work or does the pool empty before 2nd main phase?
Luke3227 is mostly correct, except that mana empties at the end of each step, not the end of each phase. So, if you cast Dragonrage during the declare attackers step, it will be gone by the time blockers are being declared in the declare blockers step.

No. The mana Dragonrage produces will empty at the end of the combat phase, before you can cast Crater's Claws during your next main phase.
