Odric, Master Tactician over powered?!

If player 1 with Odric, Master Tactician and three other 1/1s attack against player 2 with ten 3/3s, can you kill all their creatures making them block Odric? Since he has first strike, does he kill them all because of first strike? My opponents didn't like I did that to all their tokens. Is this possible and are you able to explain this to me?

Creatures can only deal combat damage equal to their power. Odric, Master Tactician has 3 power, so he can only deal a total of 3 damage. If a creature is blocked by multiple creatures, you assign damage from one creature to the next, making sure to deal at least lethal damage before moving to the next creature.

You can certainly make 10 3/3's block only Odric, but he must deal all 3 of his damage to one of them in order to deal lethal damage and 0 damage to the other 9. He will kill 1 of them, but the other 9 will kill him.

For best results, you can choose to have none of the defending player's creatures block, and let all of yours deal their damage unblocked.
