Legendary cloning

If i clone a legendary creature with say Clone would the clone become legendary forcing a sacrifice

Under the old Legendary rule if 2 copies of the same legendary permanent were in play both would not be sacrificed, but put into their owners graveyards as a state based action. Under the new Legendary rule if 2 or more player each have a copy of the same legendary permanent then nothing happens, but if one player owns 2 copies of the same legendary permanent then they would choose one and put the other into their graveyard as a state based action

704.5k If a player controls two or more legendary permanents with the same name, that player chooses one of them, and the rest are put into their owners' graveyards. This is called the "legend rule".
