Can you respond March of the Machines concerning Living Weapons?

Say I have March of the Machines out on the field. I play Mortarpod, it comes in attached on a 0/0 germ due to its Living Weapon effect.

Can Mortarpod respond to being changed into a creature, meaning can it sac its 0/0 germ before popping off of it due to March of the Machines?

This also goes for any sac outlet + any Living Weapon with March of the Machines out. Thanks!

When you play Mortarpod , it will enter as a creature due to March of the Machines , so even though it will create the Germ token, it wont ever attach to the Germ.

So no, you cannot Sac the Germ.
