Can I copy a Mutual Distruction with Sea Gate stormcaller?

Asked by I_Want_To_PlayAllTheDecks 3 years ago

If I play a Sea Gate Stormcaller and then cast a Mutual Destruction sacrificing the sea gate stormcaller, will the Mutual Destruction copy need me to sacrifice a creature for it to resolve, or is that part of not paying the cost?

No, you don't need to sacrifice a second creature. You don't cast copies of spells, so you don't need to pay the costs of the original spell again.

Notably, you can play Sea Gate Stormcaller and sacrifice it to Mutual Destruction to kill two creatures that your opponent(s) control.

Hope this helps!!
