Archangel + Azorius Charm

Asked by Pheonix11235 11 years ago

If I have an Archangel of Thune attacking and another creature attacking and I Azorius Charm my creature, do the lifelink triggers happen separately or not?

Combat damage is dealt simultaneously, so the life would be gained at the same time.

After combat damage, you would place the counters due to the Archangel's ability.

From the gatherer:

7/1/2013 A creature with lifelink dealing combat damage is a single life-gaining event. For example, if two creatures you control with lifelink deal combat damage at the same time, Archangel of Thune s ability will trigger twice. However, if a single creature with lifelink deals combat damage to multiple creatures, players, and/or planeswalkers at the same time (perhaps because it has trample or was blocked by more than one creature), the ability will trigger only once.

also remember that a creature with double strike and lifelink causes 2 life gain events
