Altac Bloodseeker attacking with other creatures

Asked by labanog 9 years ago

Hi when Altac Bloodseeker attacks w/ 2 other creatures, during the deal combat steps, when the other 2 creatures kills 2 enemy creatures,do my altar becomes a 6/1 first strike creature when its his turn todo damage?

with the same scenario above, if he gets blocked by a 4/4 creature, do i kill the creature and my altar lives? or do he also dies but kills the 4/4 creature? or do my altac just dies and don't kill the 4/4 opponent

No. All damage is dealt simultaneously, so Altac Bloodseeker would only be a 2/1 when damage is dealt.

However, if you attack with Altac Bloodseeker and two other creatures with first strike, the two with first strike will deal damage first. If any creature is dealt enough damage to be destroyed in this way, then Altac Bloodseeker 's ability will trigger, giving him +2/+0 and first strike, though seeing as the first strike step of damage has been finished, he will deal damage normally in the normal damage step.

To answer your first question, no. All damage is done simultaneously. 2 creatures your opponent controls would have to have died BEFORE the combat damage step (i.e. Shock ed during the declare blockers step) for Altac Bloodseeker to have the power and first strike to both become combat relevant.

Second scenario plays out like the first. If none of your opponent's creatures die before the combat damage step, Altac Bloodseeker will still be a 2/1 and will die.
