What traits influence how lands appear on the pie chart?

I'm trying figure out what trait makes a land show up as a particular colour or as "slow" in a deck's pie chart without much success. Can anyone explain it to me?

I'm especially interested in getting colourless lands updated, as that's the area that seems the most spotty.

If a land taps for blue, it will add 1 colour symbol to the blue section. If a land taps for multiple colours, it will add 1 colour symbol to each colour it taps for.

If a land comes in tapped, it is "Slow". If a land can come in tapped or untapped (such as the shock lands) it does not show up as slow.

You can also click on the different parts of the colour pie to highlight each relevant card in your deck. Same thing with the mana curve bar chart.
