Dunno if it's been suggested before, but with all the useful information tappedout provides for a deck, there could also be a button that gives an analysis for when things are rotating out of formats (specifically Standard, but could be customized for any).
For instance, if you click a 'Check Standard' button, it would list the cards you're using and when they are due to rotate out (or something like that). Or, you could even have the text color be yellow (or something) for those cards due to rotate out in the next few months, red for those that have already rotated out.

I suppose it's doable, but there's already an option to sort by set. Given that the information about which sets are rotating is well-publicized and talked about (it's always the oldest legal block and oldest legal core set), it's relatively easy to determine on your own what will be rotating out.
